MacPet does not collect any personal information. The app runs entirely on your Mac. No data is sent to any server. No analytics. No tracking. No cookies. No accounts.
MacPet reads sensor data from your MacBook to detect physical interactions like taps, slaps, and shakes. This data is processed locally on your device in real time and is never stored, logged, or transmitted anywhere. It stays on your Mac and is discarded immediately after processing.
MacPet uses Apple's StoreKit framework for in-app purchases. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. MacPet does not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or purchase history.
MacPet stores your preferences (pet name, pet type, volume, sensitivity) locally on your Mac using standard macOS settings. This data never leaves your device.
MacPet does not use any third party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
MacPet does not collect data from anyone, including children. The app is safe for users of all ages.
If we ever update this policy, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Since we do not collect any data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
